The workshop will be held here at our beautiful, peaceful Hawks Hunt Farm (St. Johnsville NY 13452)
Learn the Following Ghosts approach, and find out how far a dog can go when the training method lines up with the dog’s natural use of his nose. The Following Ghosts approach to tracking zeroes on in helping you become your dog’s best partner, and helping your dog understand the tracking game.
It is just amazing to watch a beginner dog work variable surfaces with ease! By the end of a 2 day workshop, most dogs complete the 2 day workshop doing multiple legs, varied surface and some aging on tracks — and that includes the beginner dogs.
Suitable for beginner dogs as well as more advanced dogs needing troubleshooting or new skills.
Register now, as this is limited to 10 working spots. No limit on auditors—but keep in mind John’s auditors are *active participants!* who learn tons. Working handlers and auditors are active while you learn track laying, equipment choices, lead handling, scent theory and aging. You also will learn observation skills, and how to tailor education to the aptitude of the individual dog.
If you are interested in learning to track, or want to help a dog who is already started, join us! Find out how you can skip the hot dog trail or pre-dawn tracks, and get right into what your dog can do!
