Description
Getting started with the Auto Check-in (or ACI) is a snap. You need yourself, some treats, a dog and a bit of patience. Oh yes – and some real enthusiastic praise for your genius dog when he gets it right.
The ACI teaches your dog the value of checking in with you. Forget nagging him with “watch me! watch me!” Instead, help your dog develop the skill to check in with you of his own free will.
You can do this anywhere, anytime – sitting on the steps to your house, while watching TV, in the backyard, the bathroom, the kitchen, anywhere.
When your dog offers you her full attention, you really have the dog’s mind in connection with yours. From there, almost anything is possible!

It really works!
My five dogs learned the auto check in in a matter of one training session. We are now using it with a variety of different distractions. It is also a way for me to clearly gauge if my dogs are with me or not. Once I know they are with me by offering the auto check in our connection is so much better.
