Guidelines for Our Discussion Group – PLEASE READ

    1) Be kind. We are hear to create a welcoming community and ask we all treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural and expected, but they also require respect and kindness.
    2) No hate speech. Rudeness, bullying, name calling, or judgement of others are not accepted here.
    3) Understand that we are all coming from different areas and our first language might be the same, please always assume no one means any offense.
    4) We are in this community to talk about dogs, animals, behavior, training and relationships – please try to keep posts on those topics. If you are going off topic please include OT (for Off-Topic) in the subject line.
    5) Cursing is not encouraged, but we understand it sometimes happens.
    6) Prejudice will not be tolerated – degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.You get one warning, and then you are asked to leave.
    7) This is a community, there are no obligations on anyone to provide you with training advice, professional advice, etc.
    8) Please, no medical advice or keyboard diagnosis. While we do encourage discussions of health and you are encouraged to share your personal experiences, understand that only medical professionals should be diagnosing or suggesting medications.
    9) We are currently not a moderated board, however, we are watching and reading and if lines are being crossed or conversations move outside of the scope of our community we reserve the right to moderate and remove conversations from the group.
    10) Fundraising or sales are not permitted unless approved by an admin – you can reach the admins at courses@suzanneclothier.com
    11) This community is founded in the ideology of Relationship Centered Training – please respect this in your conversations.
