    1. Cheryl Holt

I first read Bones about fifteen years ago when I had two young dogs. This book changed the way I trained and was instrumental in helping me build a relationship with them that enriched all of our lives. Highly recommend this book to anyone who shares their life with a dog.

    2. Jane Eagle

I have been owned by 11 Northern Breed dogs, and have fostered/trained at least 60. In self defense, I read every training book I find. This book is the key. Reading this book opened doors in my mind for training dogs. Trust and understanding are the basis for all relationships. You need this book.

    3. Aleana Yocum

It honestly changes perspective. There is enough from the positive that you can connect there without being “Been there, done that, old info” and glossing over, while clearly setting boundaries and giving a different view between you and your dog. If you’re a trainer already, you can also begin to see how you can apply this with clients as well. It is the gateway to Suzanne’s philosophy and methods that leads to a glorious rabbit hole of information and a change to your life with dogs. Whether you’re a trainer, competitor, breeder, handler, or just an owner with wonderful companions, this book is a must for your bookshelf.
